Two Driffield Health Hub Athletes Competing at Powerlifting British championships
Two of Driffield Health Hubs athletes, Rich Willis & Harry Sheader are competing tomorrow at the ABPU British power-lifting Championships, in NEC Birmingham at the 10th anniversary Body Power Exp. (UK's biggest Fitness exhibition)
Both Rich and Harry have been receiving their coaching from the Hubs fitness team 'Team RMPT' since the gym opened in August.
Rich is competing in the 'Masters 2 Raw Bench only, Sub 52kg category ' to defend his current British title and record of 97.5kg Bench press (although he is currently lifting 119kg as a personal best since this)
Harry is competing in the 'Junior Raw Bench Press Only' & 'Raw Deadlift Only', Sub 67.5kg category, after qualifying for the 'British Championships' and the 'European Championship' at his first ever competition at regional qualifier back in February.
We would like to wish Rich and Harry the best of luck for tomorrows competition. We are very proud that they are representing not only the gym but Driffield as a town on such a huge and impressive stage!
