WHAT IS JIU-JITSU?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling martial art that emphasizes technique, leverage, and submissions like chokes and joint locks. It’s practiced for fitness, competition, and real-world self-defense. In Gi BJJ, you can grab your opponent’s clothing; in No-Gi, clothing grips aren’t allowed, favoring speed and body control.

EXPERIENCE
No experience is needed to start Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

BJJ is beginner-friendly and designed to teach you everything from the ground up, whether you’ve never done martial arts or you're out of shape. We are here to guide you through it all!

All you need is:

Comfortable workout clothes (or a Gi once we start Gi classes)

Willingness to learn

Respect on the mat

Everyone starts as a beginner — even black belts were once white belts.
